Production Engineer (Trainee)

📍 Velu, Pune (on-site at the SCHORL plant) | Full-time | Entry level (0–2 years) | 9 am – 6 pm | Weekly off: Thursday | Reports to: Management

You start as a trainee for the first 3 months. After that, your profile changes to Engineer depending on your performance.

You will run day-to-day production at the SCHORL plant in Velu, Pune, and own output, quality and dispatch, leading the production team every day.

What you will do

  • Plan daily and weekly production against orders
  • Lead the foreman and the shop-floor team
  • Make sure every filter passes quality checks before dispatch
  • Manage raw material stock and reorders
  • Coordinate packing and dispatch with the courier partner
  • Keep the factory safe, clean and organised (5S)
  • Report output, rejections and downtime to management
  • Occasional travels to vendor locations, marketing events, exhibitions within Pune or India
  • Driving license and driving experience is a plus

Is this you?

  • Diploma or degree in mechanical or production engineering
  • 0–2 years of experience in manufacturing or production. Freshers with internship or project experience on a shop floor are welcome
  • Hands-on experience with production planning and quality control
  • Experience in automotive components or filter manufacturing is a plus

SALARY

₹15,000 and ₹25,000 per month
